Do I need to verify my identity?
No. ShadowEX will never ask you to KYC. No ID, no selfie, no proof of address, now or later.
Can ShadowEX freeze my funds?
No. We will never freeze your funds or hold a swap hostage for verification. Once your deposit confirms, the swap goes through.
Do I need an account?
No. Pick your coins, enter the address you want to receive to, and send your funds. You get a swap ID to track progress.
How long does a swap take?
Most swaps finish within minutes. Timing depends on the confirmations needed on the network you send from.
What is the refund address for?
It's optional. If a swap can't be completed, funds are returned to this address on the network you sent from. Without one, contact support with your swap ID.
Which coins are supported?
BTC, ETH, XMR, ZEC, LTC, SOL and TRX, plus USDT (TRC20, ERC20, SOL), USDC (ERC20, SOL) and DAI (ERC20).
What if I send to the wrong network?
Always double-check the network shown next to the coin. If something goes wrong, contact support with your swap ID.
Are there hidden fees?
No. The amount shown is what you receive; network and service fees are already included in the quote.
